Scholarships

Partners in Prevention is offering scholarships to attend the 2026 Meeting of the Minds conference. If you are applying for a CCHA scholarship, please scroll down further to find that application.

Scholarships are made possible through a variety of our funding sources. Scholarships are only available to students, faculty, staff, and law enforcement/public safety officials who live and/or work in Missouri. Submission of an application does not necessarily imply approval.


Scholarship Types

Engage scholarships (for active Engage facilitators and community organizers) – as of 2/3/2026 we are pausing this scholarship program, all awarded attendees will have scholarships honored but we are not able to award/approve new scholarships until the funding pause for this grant program has ended.

MACRO scholarships (for individuals working on substance use/recovery efforts)

Law Enforcement/Public Safety scholarships (sponsored by the Missouri Department of Transportation’s Highway Safety and Traffic Division)

Tobacco prevention scholarships (for those working on policy, prevention, or cessation efforts)

Prevention Leader Scholarships (for dedicated prevention professionals, active coalition members, etc.)

CCHA (Central College Health Association) Scholarship

The Central College Health Association is offering scholarships to support attendance at the Meeting of the Minds Conference. Each scholarship will provide $500 toward expenses incurred for participation in the event.

Scholarship Details

  • One scholarship will be awarded per CCHA-represented state:
    • Missouri
    • Kansas
    • Nebraska
  • Scholarship recipients are responsible for covering initial costs (e.g., registration, travel, lodging).
  • The $500 award will be issued after the conference, upon completion of a feedback form.

Eligibility Requirements

  • Applicant must be a current member of both CCHA and ACHA.
  • Attend all 3 keynote sessions
  • Attend and vote in the CCHA Annual Meeting
  • Attend at least 4 CCHA sponsored additional breakout or extended educational
  • Complete CCHA Scholarship feedback form

Important Notes

  • Submission of an application does not guarantee approval.
  • Scholarships will be awarded based on application review and available funds.
  • As part of the review process, additional consideration may be given to applicants who are confirmed MOM Conference presenters.

Application Instructions

  1. Complete the Scholarship Application Form
  2. Provide your contact information, institutional affiliation, and membership verification for CCHA and ACHA.
  3. Include a Brief Statement (250–500 words)
  4. Explain your interest in attending the Meeting of the Minds Conference.
  5. Describe how participation will benefit your professional development and your institution.
  6. Submit Your Application by March 16th, 2026
  7. Applications must be received by 5:00pm March 16th, 2026
  8. Late submissions will not be considered
