Tips for a Successful Conference
Spending Money
We want this conference to be as affordable as possible so we are supplying dinner on Thursday, breakfast and lunch on Friday and breakfast and lunch on Saturday. You might want to bring some extra money for snacks, and any sightseeing that you plan to do. Zona Rosa is a nearby shopping and dining area with options for eating and entertainment on Friday night.
Conference Registration Areas & Hours
Once you check into your hotel room, come to the conference registration area located in the hotel lobby. Registration hours are:
- Thursday: 9am-8pm
- Friday: 7am-5pm
What to Wear
This is a professional conference, but jeans and khakis are fine. Use your best judgment. Hotels tend to be a bit chilly so you may want to wear layers in case some meeting rooms are colder than others.
Vegetarian and Special Meal Needs
Partners in Prevention is happy to provide vegetarian/ vegan meals and other special meal needs to our conference guests given appropriate notice. Each registered special meal need will receive special designation on their nametag. If you do not register with a special meal need in advance of arrival, we cannot guarantee that the meal will be available to you. In addition, if you have any other special meal needs please note that on your registration or contact Joan Masters at MastersJ@missouri.edu before March 26.
