This 2.5 hour virtual training addresses tobacco and e-cigarette usage rates among Missouri college students and associated problems. Specific, evidence-based approaches to tobacco cessation are covered in-depth, including motivational interviewing, quit plans, and nicotine replacement therapies. In addition, best practices for cessation program delivery (e.g., one-on-one coaching, group formats, phone/online support) are presented. Training attendees will leave with the skills and structures necessary to implement tobacco cessation services on their campuses. Please plan to be on zoom, both video and audio, for the training.
